Diesel gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.34 per gallon at one gas station in Sumter County during the week ending Dec. 13 2025, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The county registered an average of $3.53 per gallon for diesel gas.

Sumter County had 26 of 50 reported gas stations offering diesel gas.

Statewide, diesel gas averaged $3.57 per gallon for the week ending Dec. 13 2025, down from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
