On Sunday, Feb. 23, former The Villages Charter School standout Devin Burkes’ current college team, the Kentucky Wildcats, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Belmont Bruins.
The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their third matchup against the Bruins this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at Kentucky Proud Park against Evansville Purple Aces.
