On Saturday, March 22, former The Villages Charter School standout Sam Walters’ current collegiate team the Michigan Wolverines won 91-79 against the Texas A&M Aggies in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Ball Arena, this was the first game against the Texas A&M Aggies during the championship.

Sam Walters’ hometown is The Villages and game position is forward.
