It is time to request your help as we are gearing up for the 24th Annual Sheriff Bill Farmer’s Charity Golf Tournament for the Youth of Sumter County.  The event is scheduled for June 03, 2023.  This event benefits the youth of Sumter County by promoting sports, community projects and education scholarships.  

I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your help this year to assist the youth in Sumter County.  Participating in this event gives you the perfect opportunity to provide financial assistance to our children. This tournament will be held at the Tierra Del Sol golf course in The Villages.

All proceeds benefit the children by supporting several programs such as:

• College scholarships for high school students

• The Athletic Clubs such as Dixie Youth League, Pop Warner, Soccer Leagues and Soft Ball for boys and girls 

• Cops & Kids Day in several different communities in Sumter County

• Project Graduation and other school-related clubs

• Science Fair for Sumter County Middle & High Schools 

• Positive Behavior Support Program through the Sumter County Schools

• Teen Explorer Program 

   As a sponsor or player you help improve a child's education and expand their activities.
