To Whom It May Concern:
Notice is hereby given that the Florida Model Jail Standards Working Group will hold a meeting to which all interested persons are invited. Anyone wishing to record the meeting may do so but must provide their-own equipment.
Date and Time:
The meeting will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Place: The World Golf Resort in St. Augustine, FL. during the FLA-PAC Conference.
Purpose: To discuss the following standards below and any other issues or concerns involving the minimum standards and operations of Florida’s county and municipal jails.
1. FMJS Standards 5.1(b) – Supervision of Incarcerated Woman
2. FMJS Standards 7.12 – Certified FMJS Inspectors Guidelines
3. FMJS Standards 8.2 – Inmate Food
4. FMJS Standards 8.5 – Inmate Food
