We are saddened to learn that the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office lost a deputy who was killed by a DUI driver while conducting a traffic stop on I-75.
We wish to offer our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the deputy, as well as our brothers and sisters in Charlotte County.
