Event Details:
Girls Gone West explores the hardships and sometimes harrowing tales of courageous women who ventured west during the mid-late 19th century. These "Founding Frontier Mothers" were also inspired and mentored by indigenous women from various native tribes, who will also be highlighted.
This program is presented by Jo Ann Tufo, Historian, American History Teacher and Professional Lecturer.
This program will be presented through zoom and broadcast on the screen inside the library.
