Do you want to receive reverse 9-1-1 calls/text/emails from the Sumter County Sheriff's Office regarding important public safety information happening near you? Then you need to sign up for AlertSumter, you can register for AlertSumter at www.sumterprepares.com. You will not automatically receive these calls/texts/emails without registering.
The Sumter County Sheriff's Office will also post any SCSO alert sent out via AlertSumter to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office app. The app has special features like our social media feed, sex offender search and our exclusive Sumter Scam Sting section. To download our app visit either the App Store or Google Play.
