Sumter County School District issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.
The 36th Annual Sumter School District Scholarship Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020 @ 2:00 pm at Evans Prairie Country Club in The Villages, Florida.
During the past thirty five years, this scholarship tournament has assisted hundreds of students with the continuation of their education at Lake-Sumter State College. In 2019 the SSGT awarded $20,000 in scholarships to twenty students. Each year we are able to continue awarding scholarships due to the dedication and generosity of our volunteers, golfers and sponsors.
