Event Details:

Florida Storytellers and reenactors David Fussell and Kathy Kniery will bring to life William P. DuVal and his wife, Nancy, through a series of stories. DuVal was the first territorial governor of Florida, succeeding  Andrew Jackson, the military governor. DuVal’s administration was noted for it’s peaceful relations with Florida’s Indians and for establishment of Tallahassee as the territorial capitol.
